Related Services

Related service providers conduct evaluations and contribute to the development of each student's IEP.  They are available to parents as a resource for their child's needs at home and, in some cases, are able to assist with accessing adaptive equipment.  

 

Related services are provided as both direct service and consultative and occur in a variety of settings.  The settings are chosen to maximize each student's educational access and developmental gains.  As students enter into the high school and transitional living skills program, some related services become integrated into the vocational setting.  This allows students to practice the skills they have learned and acquire new ones in a real life setting where natural supports exist.
