Preschool

At age three, preschool children are offered services through specially designed programs based on the creative curriculum. Students learn pre-readiness skills through experiential learning focused on language and social development, sensory motor skills, pre academic skills and school readiness. Instruction is provided utilizing all forms of communication to support student needs including verbal, American Sign Language (ASL), and/or picture communication with a goal of identifying a primary form of communication. Students also participate in special area classes including gym, art, and music. Preschool teachers work closely with related service providers to offer both integrated and direct services in conjunction with specially designed instruction.
