District Goals
ACSSSD GOALS 2022-2023
1) Curriculum, Instructional Program and Assessment

To update the ACSSSD curriculum in the following areas: Health & Physical Education, Visual and Performing Arts, Career Readiness, , Life Literacies, and Key Skills, Science, Social Studies & Civics

To individualize lessons/activities to ensure progress toward IEP goals and collect assessment data to inform instruction and document gains using Progress Monitoring.
2) Professional Development, Feedback and Evaluation

To use data to drive instruction and plan educational activities and events to support social and emotional wellness.

To use the ACSSSD IEP guide to ensure that high quality goals are created, measurable, appropriate and communicated to families and sending districts.
3) Technology
-
To increase the outreach to families using parent emails for communication.

To use Realtime to document and memorialize pertinent student information.
4) Operations
-
To implement collaboration sessions for certified staff to support student growth.

To continue to share services across both districts ACIT and ACSSSD.

To continue to implement cost effective practices and protocols in all departments to benefit our students, our sending districts and the Atlantic County Community.
