Our restaurant is named "The Forest" because it is located on Nawakwa Boulevard. The word "nawakwa" means "middle of the forest" in the language of the Lenni Lenapi Native Americans who once lived in this area.
Your servers are students in the Career Education Classes at Atlantic County High School. The primary emphasis of this program is to provide the students with work experiences in realistic settings.
